This page is only for SSD students who could not meet the department threshold of “Proficient” on the Academic English Proficiency Assessment (AEPA), and need to take the test again. In order to take an additional test, you must pay $70.00USD.

Note: It is not permitted to process the same credit card twice in a 10-minute window. This is a security measure.

Refund Policy: You must inform the OLA via email (languageassessment[at]uchicago.edu) at least 48 hours before the test begins of your cancellation. Notice of less than 48 hours (or a no-show) will result in no refund.

You must forward the confirmation email you receive to the OLA (languageassessment[at]uchicago.edu) to complete your registration.
